Daily Debate: What is Your Favorite Zelda Song To Smash To In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
Posted on December 09 2018 by Sean Gadus
The Legend of Zelda is one of the best represented franchise in recently launched Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. With several characters (including the long awaited return of Young Link), an incredible amount of spirits, assist trophies, items, easter eggs, and musical tracks, there is a clear love for the Zelda series within the epic crossover.
With this in mind, what is your favorite song to listen to while battling it out on a Zelda stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? There are dozens of tracks to choose from, ranging from old school classic like the Super Smash Bros. (N64) Hyrule Castle stage theme, to the original compositions from the different Zelda games, as well as new remixes made especially for the Super Smash Bros. series.
One of my favorites to duke it out with is the Ballad of the Goddess/Ghirahim’s theme mash up from Super Smash Bros. Wii-U/3DS. The searing electric guitar truly gets you ready for an epic battle. There’s a heavy rhythm/bass section that keeps the energy and tempo up for the whole fight. These two songs are both incredible compositions from Skyward Sword and are blended together well in this arrangement.
