Link amiibo Can Be Used In Yoshi’s Woolly World

Yoshi’s latest adventure, Yoshi’s Wooly World will be releasing this year, and we have just learned that in the title we will see an appearance of some character costumes from The Legend of Zelda franchise. Nintendo of Europe has just released a video that shows off the ability to use amiibo to unlock different costumes for the little Yarn Yoshi in the game. There will be a total of 40 amiibo able to be used and several Zelda amiibo are on that list! So far it looks as if you can use the Link, Toon Link, Sheik, and Ganondorf amiibo to unlock costumes that the yarn Yoshi will then be able to wear. The video only shows off what Yarn Yoshi would look like wearing Link’s costume, but I can’t wait to see what he will look like when you use the other amiibo, Ganondorf’s outfit might be pretty hilarious!

Im not really sure why, but I am actually excited about this game. Ive have never really been into any of the Yoshi games and even though Yoshi is adorable I have never been inspired to play one of the games featuring him. But for some reason this one does and I will definitely be using my amiibo with it when it releases!
