Red Deeler is an enemy that appears in The Adventure of Link. It is one of the two variants of Deeler, along with the Blue Deeler.

Overview

Red Deelers are found in the forests of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. They live in the branches of trees and descend on a silky thread to attack their prey.

Red Deelers are easier to deal with than their Blue Deeler counterparts, as they will remain on the string when they drop down. Link can easily side-step the dealer when it drops down and then slash with his sword to deal damage. Later in the quest when Link acquires the Jump Thrust, he can jump and attack the enemy while it is on its way down.
