Was Beedle Just Confirmed to be in Breath of the Wild?

Nintendo released a new screenshot for Breath of the Wild today that, upon first glance, doesn’t appear to be anything overly special. It’s an area of the game we have already seen before and there really isn’t much new that is noteworthy. That is until you take a close look at the NPC furthest to the left carrying a giant backpack. Many astute fans have gone on to suggest that very well might be Beedle from The Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. GameXplain has gone ahead and brought together all of the evidence that essentially all but confirms that it is indeed Beedle, and that he, like other games, is likely a traveling merchant.
