Previously, costume options for Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf were given exclusively to people who preordered Hyrule Warriors from certain retailers. Costumes for the three characters based on their designs from Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword were given to people who preordered the game from GameStop, Amazon, and Best Buy respectively.

Nintendo just announced that these costumes will be sold in Japan as DLC as of December 18th, contained in three different packs, titled the “Wisdom”, “Courage”, and “Power” costumes sets. They will grant each character three new costumes, and are formatted as so:

“Courage” Costume Set

  • Cost: 400 yen
  • Includes Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time Link costumes

“Wisdom” Costume Set

  • Cost: 400 yen
  • Includes Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time Zelda costumes

“Power” Costume Set

  • Cost: 300 yen
  • Includes Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time Ganondorf costumes

Nintendo hasn’t given any word on whether these costumes packs will be made available to North America or Europe.

What do you think? Are you excited for these packs (if they do come to the West), or are you getting tired of all the DLC that has been released for Hyrule Warriors? Personally, I think these are some of the better costumes we’ve seen for the game, but they will never match the greatness of Postman Link.
