 - Aches are bat-like creatures that are mostly found in caves. They swoop down on you whenever you go beneath them. Earlier in the game when you can't see in caves and they take more hits they're threatening, but later after you obtain the Candle and more attack power they become easier than cake to defeat.

 Air Bubble Threat:

 - Air Bubbles are enemies that rise up from the ground in some places. Several of them rise up at a time. They're undefeatable and were only made to hurt you more on your quest. It is best to avoid them with the Shield Spell and the Jumping Spell.

 - Found in many palaces, Armored Stalfos are stronger than regular ones. They have a shield which makes it even harder to hit them. They are very quick and are rather good at stabbing. They like to jump around and go behind you, so stay on your guard.

 - Bago-Bagos always appear in areas with bridges. They jump out from below the bridge and start to chase after you. They also sometimes shoot rocks from their mouths. They steal experience points from you if they come in contact with you, so avoid touching them at all costs.

 - Basilisks are lizard-like enemies that are only found in Eastern Hyrule. They shoot energy balls at you to attack you. They are immune to everything you own but the Fire Spell. Due to this, it is usually best to avoid them.

 - Boons are fly-like enemies that fly very fast around the screen. They also drop rocks around as they fly. Upward Thrusts are the best way to kill them.

 - Bots are some of the weakest and common enemies in the whole game. They are very weak and are not hard to kill at all. Even after your attack is only L-2, that's still enough to kill them in just one hit. However, some of them in the Great Palace take several hits to kill.

 - Bubbles ricochet off the walls in diagonal motions. They take a lot of hits to kill even with L-8 on attack power. They don't only damage you upon contact; they also steal some of your magic power as well.

 - Dairas are crocodile-like enemies that wield axes. Orange ones only hack theirs at you, while red ones actually throw them. It is best to do several hit and run tactics on the orange ones to avoid getting hurt. Red ones throw axes, so Downward Thrusts are recommended.

 - Found only in forests, Deelers resemble spiders. Red ones hang from trees and only come down if you go below them. However, the blue ones will come down to the ground and attempt to pounce on you. Your sword should be the only thing you'll need to defeat them.

 - Doomknockers are very dangerous enemies. They throw a spike stick that acts like a boomerang. The Downward Thrust is recommended. However, even after you kill them their spike sticks can still fly by and kill you if you killed them while it was in the air.

 - Dragon Heads fly through the air in patterns. Sometimes two will fly next to eachother. They also steal experience points from you if they come in contact with you. Downward Thrusts are the best way to take care of these flying pests.

 - Fokkas are bird versions of the Ironknuckle. However, they are only found in the Great Palace near the end of the game. They shoot beams from their swords and can also jump. Their ability to jump makes it harder for you to get away, for they can follow you up large steps and such.

 - Like Fokkas, Fotails are also found in the Great Palace. They are dancing birds that like to spit fire at you that hurts a lot. They are hard to just avoid, so you might as well make at least an attempt to kill them. Shield Spell works best at helping you kill them.

 - Geldarms live in deserts. Simply slash at them to make them fall to the ground for a few seconds. Slash at their heads after they're down.

 - Only a few Giant Bots reside in the game, and they're all in the Great Palace. They're invisible until you walk under the big hole in ceilings they're in. If you think fast enough, you can do an Upward Thrust to counter them. Several Bots come out of them after getting hit, but these Bots are stronger than normal ones.

 - Goriyas are enemies that throw boomerangs. They throw them in two different ways. Your shield can block both of these ways if you stand correctly. It's best to jump over their rangs and slash away at them before they come back and smack you.

 - Ironknuckles can only be found in palaces. Orange ones are the weakest while blue ones are the strongest. Blue ones can actually shoot beams from their swords. Blue ones first appear in the Island Palace, since the boss of it is a blue Ironknuckle. Jumping and hitting their heads is the easiest way to hurt them.

 - Found only in the Great Palace, King Bubbles are basically bigger versions of the Bubble. After you slash them several times, numerous smaller Bubbles will come out of them.

 - Leevers are only found in deserts. They pop in and out of the ground. You'll see them come out of the ground a little bit before they actually hurt you. The Downward Thrust is best on these grounded enemies.

 - The majority of this enemy's population is in the Valley of Death. They like to whack you with maces and such. They also use spears and have shields to protect them. The blue ones are the worst due to the fact that they throw maces at you.

 - Lowders are enemies found in caves. They move slow, but will move faster when they move towards Link. A couple hits, if not only one should take them down with ease.

 - Mace Throwers like to jump around while throwing maces. Pay attention to their throwing patterns, and an opening in the maces will come up. Go through the opening and attack them. They jump forward as well sometimes, so watch out.

 - Megmats hop up and down on the screen. They'll always jump in the direction that you're in. In other words, they jump near you. The Jump Spell + Downward Thrust is the best way to get rid of these pests.

 - There are several versions of the Moa. Purple ones are a big danger since they're invisible. Orange ones drop fire while they fly. Blue ones only reside in graveyards. Invisible ones cannot be seen unless you have obtained the Cross from the Hidden Palace.

 - Some Moblins will simply charge at you with spears. However, other color variations of them will actually throw their spears at you. Take note of this and counter them.

 - These birds are very annoying since they steal points from you. They always come in infinite numbers and zip right by you. It's best to hit them and destroy them instead of dodging all of them.

 - Myus cannot be destroyed unless you have the Downward Thrust because they're so short. They are usually found near cliffs and jumps in attempt to knock you off to your doom. If one of them is near a cliff, wait for it to just fall off on its own.

 - The Red Octoroks simply just stay in one spot and shoot rocks at you while jumping. However, the blue ones are far harder. The blue ones take more hits to kill, and they move as well. The rocks can easily be blocked with your shield.

 - Patras move slowly around the screen. Their eye is their weak spot. It'll move slowly with its eye closed, then stop and open it up. This is your chance to attack them.

 - Red Aches are only in caves. They hang from the ceiling and come down when you're near. They shoot fire at you when they land, then they fly back up. Be prepared to dodge the fire and then attack them before they land on the ground.

 -Rocks simply fly slowly back and forth in deserts. You cannot kill them, so you just jump over them, block them, etc. Bloking them with your shield can usually be more effective than jumping over them and such.

 - Ropes are similar to Octoroks. They stand in one spot and spit rocks at you. They are only found inside of palaces, and red ones can only be found in the Great Palace.

 - A rather tough foe, Skettlars resemble scorpions with one eye. Their eye is their weak spot, so they can only be damaged when it is open. Avoid their fire at all costs.

 - Sorcerors are a great resource of experience points if you know how to fight them right. They make some fire appear, then they appear in another spot right after the flame disappears to make more. They are very hard to hit since they keep appearing and reappearing constantly.

 - Stalfos are found in early palaces. They come in red and blue formations with blue being the toughest one. They're simply skeletons armed with a sword and shield. Duck down and slash at their legs to defeat them.

 - Like Basilisks, Tektites are only harmed by the Fire Spell. They jump around and shoot beams at you every now and then. Their jumping patterns are unpredictable, which makes them hard to defeat. Jumping and using a Downward Thrust is the best way to get across them without taking damage.

 - Tinsuits just run around palaces. They only take a single hit to kill, and give you no experience points. However, they do take them away from you if you touch them. They always appear in an infinite amount on the screen, so just keep stabbing them as you go along.

 - Wizzrobes are immune to all attacks, except their own. Use the Reflect Spell to deflect their magic beams back at them to kill them. Their first and most common appearances take place in the Maze Island Palace.

 - Wolf Heads move slowly through the air while shooting beams. They can be very annoying in rooms filled with blocks. Unfortunately, most of their appearances take place in those kinds of rooms. They move slowly up and down in patterns, making it a little harder for you to not get hit by their beams.
