It is so exciting to be a Zelda fan right now, with The Wind Waker HD just on the horizon and A Link Between Worlds not too far behind it. For The Wind Waker HD alone there are three separate versions available for purchase (four if you count the digital version of the standard edition), but time is up on one of them it seems. Thanks to our friends over at Link’s Hideaway, we have been alerted to the fact that the GameStop exclusive version of the game, featuring a special Ganondorf figurine, is sold out in North America, particularly in the United States. It seems that it is still available in Europe, exclusively through GAME.

This may come as a bummer to those who were on the fence about shelling out the extra money for this edition, but these kind of things can’t always be waited for. As a community we tend to snatch up these things as soon as they are announced, and I’m glad that Nintendo keeps including special things for dedicated fans.

Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy have both been added to the Nintendo Selects collection in Europe. The folks over at GoNintendo have posted a fan created 25th Anniversary Legend of Zelda 3DS. GoNintendo is labeling this as custom made and not something that will officially be released. However, it appears there are rumors floating around that there might in fact be a Legend of Zelda themed Nintendo 3DS.
