Halloween’s just around the corner, so I thought it was a good time to tackle a certain lovely little article topic: The top examples of “nightmare fuel” in Zelda. While this term can have a broader meaning that applies to anything scary or nightmare-inducing, I’m going with a specific version. In short, I’m covering things that were never meant to be scary, or scary to this degree, but certainly become highly disturbing when you think about them. I suppose you…

It is always pretty obvious when nerds infiltrate the upper workings of our society, making video game references and jokes in their articles. Sometimes we read those articles and we say “Hey, that’s a fellow gamer right there!” I love those times. This is not one of those times. In light of Halloween, People magazine recently did a roundup of some celebrity costumes and… well, let’s just say the editors are probably not Zelda fans. Make the jump to see!

Well another Halloween has come and gone this year with many Zelda fans of all ages turning out to show off their creative skills with the costumes they made. It looks like this year there was quite a turnout among the fans as there are many a Link and Zelda seen here today. Some fans have even come dressed up as several other characters from the series as well. Jump in to see the costumes.

Well hey there guys! Might be a day late, but it’s the usual day for the mailbag, so I’ve brought you a Halloween-themed mailbag for today! I feel like something strange is about to happen though… Well, anyway, this mailbag has 16 questions, about a bunch of spooky and or villain-related topics in the Zelda series. Halloween isn’t just about being scared, though; there are also some great costume ideas. See what the most creative Zelda fans have come up with after the jump!

Halloween, the time of year where children get dressed up and go door-to-door in hopes of getting a lot of candy and with it being right around the corner, the internet is flooded with pictures of people in their costumes. Not surprisingly, many choose to dress up as their favorite video game characters, but as you are assuming your role as Link, Zelda, or anyone else for the night have you ever wondered what they might be doing? In Dorkly…

Today’s fanart spotlight features an artist who makes creative fan creations and doesn’t restrict herself to any one medium. She’s made everything from Portal sugar cookies to Octorok needle felts, but today we’ll be focusing on her newest and most festive creation. Zelda pumpkins are not new the fandom, but littlemissysg has added her own unique twist with her Ganondorf Pumpkin. She does an impressive job painting the Zelda antagonists mug on the pumpkin. That is no easy task when…
