Link's Crossbow Training' is a Zelda spin-off title for the Nintendo Wii, originally bundled with the Wii Zapper peripheral. The game contains several locations and enemies that featured in Twilight Princess. The main objective is to control Link and his crossbow to shoot target boards, enemies and objects gaining points to increase score. Players can shoot targets to gain points and consecutive hits will build up a score multiplier to further increasing the players score.

Game Modes

Target Shooting

The goal in Target Shooting is to shoot down targets for a high score. In this mode, every stage is split into three twenty second segments. Link is offscreen while each segment goes on. Link shoots targets, with the red target being worth 30 points if shot in the bull's-eye whereas the gold targets are worth 150 points if shot in the bull's-eye. Also, there are scarecrows that can be shot multiple times for a 1000 point increase; if this tactic is used in the first two segments of a stage, Link will be transferred to another side of the stage with multiple gold targets to shoot down, allowing for a massive boost in the high score.

Defender

The goal of Defender is to shoot down enemies for a high score. In this mode, Link is stationary (onscreen.

Ranger

In Ranger Mode players have free control and may move across the environment by using the nunchuk attachment's analog stick. The goal is to find 25 of a certain enemy (from Bulblins to Skulltula) by moving around the given stage. Many other objects can be shot in the process including windows.
