A Link to the Past

In A Link to the Past there are three Fortune Tellers scattered throughout the land, two found in the Light World, and one in the Dark World. When Link enters a Fortune Tellers Hut, he can speak to the Fortune Teller who offers to tell him his fortune for a cheap price. If Link chooses not to hear his fortune, the fortune teller tells Link that it is indeed a poor man who is not interested in his future.

If Link agrees to allow the Fortune Teller to tell his fortune, he will give Link a hint on what he needs to do. Often times these lead to optional items, progressing in the main quest, or other secrets that help Link on his quest. The Fortune Teller will then take somewhere between 10 and 30 [[Rupee]s from Link. He wishes Link good health and will then restore his life to maximum.

The Fortune Teller in the Dark World does look a bit different than his Light World counterpart. He still has kept is basic form, but he appears to be much fatter.
