A Ghoul Rat is an enemy that appears in Twilight Princess. It has the same appearance as a Rat, the only difference being the Ghoul Rat is only visible to Link while he is using senses as Wolf Link. They tend to jump on Link to slow him down, much like a Scarab does. Ghoul Rat appear in three locations across Hyrule, including Arbiter's Grounds, Cave of Ordeals, and Hyrule Castle.
