Hyrule Warriors is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Wii U. It is a collaborative effort between Tecmo Koei, the creator of the Dynasty Warriors series, and The Legend of Zelda universe. It was announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation on December 18th, 2013. The gameplay is highly similar to that of Dynasty Warriors, but the Zelda universe serves as the setting. The story begins when Zelda is kidnapped by an evil witch named Cia, and Link sets out to rescue her. Impa is confirmed to play a part in the game as well and many "unexpected" playable characters will be available.[1]
