Ne'ez Yohma Shrine is one of the many Shrine of Trials from Breath of the Wild.
Requirements
Pushing Power
At the very top of the shrine, there is a large orb. The end game goal here, is to get that orb to fit in the ball socket at the bottom corner on the opposite side of the shrine. As you begin to scale up the water, tons of boulders will fall down. There is also a laser that blocks Link's path. Link can use Cryonis to create an ice block, blocking off the laser. Navigate past the balls to reach the top of the shrine.
Before trying to solve the puzzle, it's worth getting the lone treasure chest that is on one of the platforms. Link can get this by using Cryonis to create an Ice Block. Alternatively, there is a ramp at the back-right corner of the shrine, opposite from where the entrance is. From there, Link can climb on the grating and open the chest to get a Zora Spear or Silverscale Spear.
Next, it's time to use Cryonis to create ice blocks, push the large orb all the way to the ball socket at the bottom of the shrine. There are numerous solutions to this, but the one below is one of the easier methods.
- First, near the center of the room, the laser shoots in a direction where there is a small opening Link can run through. We want to play an Ice Block right in this area. On both sides there are walls that slope downward. The goal here is to place the ice block so that the large orb will eventually move down along the sloped wall, nudge against the ice block, and then continue down the slope.
- At the very top of the shrine, use Cryonis on the back waterfall to knock the orb off the wall.
- Place an ice block directly underneath the orb. This will push it into the area, allowing it to roll down the ramp. If the first block was placed correctly, it will move down the diagonal sloped walls, all the way to the other side of the shrine. It will eventually come to a stop on the other side of the shrine.
- Before lifting the orb again, we need to make sure it does not roll down the sloped wall up ahead. Place an ice block by the sloped wall down below, so that when the orb hits the sloped wall, the ice block will prevent it from rolling down.
- Next, place an ice block underneath the orb to lift it up. If the previous block was placed correctly, it will land against the sloped wall, but will stop because of the ice block that was placed.
- Place an ice block underneath once again, lifting the orb up. This time it will roll down right into the ball socket.
With the gate open, run over to the altar. Speak with Ne'ez Yohma to get the Spirit Orb.
Alternative Method
You can also use Stasis on the ball, at which point there are a lot of creative ways to get the ball into the socket.
