Hero of Legend

The hero of Legend is the Link from A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages, and Oracle of Seasons. Little is known about this hero's early life except that his parents likely died when he was very young leaving his uncle to take care of him. Link's Uncle was a member of the Hylian Knights (The Hylian Knights are the highest-ranking knights in Hyrule. Their job is to protect the Hylian royal family. They are all descendants of the hero of the Skies).

The Hero of Legend (A Link to the Past)

Link to the Past

During the events of A Link to the Past Link is around the age of 15. Aghanim the Wizzard killed the King and Queen of Hyrule, imprisoned Zelda and the six maidens, and brainwashed the soldiers of Hyrule. Link's uncle goes to fight Aghanim and tells Link not to follow him. Link ends up following his uncle who gets mortally wounded in the tunnels beneath Hyrule castle. Link's uncle gives his sword to Link and taught him the Heroes spin before he dies. Link saves Zelda from Hyrule Castle and they escape to the Sanctuary. Link then claimed the three pendants of Wisdom, Courage, and Power and pulled the Master Sword. He then went to the Castle to confront Aghanim. However, Link was late as Aghanim had discovered Zelda and the Six maidens and sent them to the dark world. When Link got there he had a short skirmish with Aghanim and then he too was sent to the dark world. Link had previously attained the Moon pearl and the magic Mirror so he kept his form in the dark world and could freely travel back to the Light World. Link eventually rescued Zelda and the six maidens from their prisons and Defeated Ganon who had possession of the entire Triforce. Link then touched the Triforce and wishes for Hyrule to be restored. The Royal family and Link's uncle are revived and Hyrule is at peace.

-After a Link to the Past, the Hero of Legend stayed in Hyrule for a little while to help rebuild. Eventually, he became restless and went on a journey to new lands to receive training in faraway places.

Link thinking about his adventures after Link's Awakening

Link's Awakening

During his travels, Link was in the middle of the sea when a storm hit. Link tied himself to the mast to keep him with his boat his ship was struck by lightning and Link was knocked out by his boat. When Link woke up he was on the island of Koholint. Marin the girl from Koholint island had found him on the beach and along with her father Tarin, they took Link back to their house and helped Link recover. When Link woke up, a mysterious owl told Link to go to the eight dungeons and claim the eight Instruments of the Sirens to wake the Wind Fish. After completing the Fifth dungeon and learning the Ballad of the Wind Fish from Marin, Link learned that if he continued his quest the Island of Koholint would disappear, but if he didn't continue he would never make it back to Hyrule. Link made the hard choice of continuing his quest to wake the wind fish. Link eventually made it into the wind fish's egg on Mt. Tamaranch where he defeated the Nightmare who was tormenting the Wind Fish. The Wind Fish told link to play the Ballad of the Wind Fish one last time on the instruments of the Sirens. When Link played The Ballad of the Wind Fish the Island of Koholint disappeared along with all of the People, animals, and monsters. When Link woke up he was on the wreckage of his boat in the middle of the ocean where his ship was struck by lightning. Link sat on his boat and thought wistfully about his previous journey, then he saw the Wind Fish fly overhead and realized the Wind Fish was real.

-After this adventure Link headed back to Hyrule.

The Hero of Legend (Oracle of Seasons and Ages)

Oracle of Seasons and Ages

-After Link's adventure in Koholint and Link's return to Hyrule, the triforce sent Link to the land of Holodrum where he meets the Oracle of Seasons Din the dancer. Then Din was captured by Onox the general of darkness. Link went on a quest to save Din and eventually got the Rod of seasons which helped him defeat Onox and rescue Din.

-Directly after Oracle of Seasons, the Triforce sent Link to the land of Labrynna. In Labrynna Link meet Nayru the Oracle of Ages who later got possessed by Veran the sorceress who went back in time to change the present. Link claimed the Harp of Ages and followed Veran back in time to stop her ultimately freeing Nayru in the process. Link defeated Veran and He and Nayru traveled back to the present.

-Very shortly after Link realized that the attacks from both Veran and Onox were just a plot from the Twinrova to light the three flames of death and resurrect the Demon King Ganon. He also realized that the Twinrova had already lit two of the three flames of death. The third flame of death could only be lit by sacrificing Zelda the Princess of Hyrule who Link had saved a few years earlier in A Link to the Past. The Twinrova was about to sacrifice Zelda when Link came and rescued her. The Twinrova left with no choice sacrificed themselves and lit the third flame of death. Ganon was resurrected but without the mind, he had in A Link to the Past, and Ocarina of Time. Because the resurrection was not complete and the third flame was not completely lit Ganon became a mindless beast and was easily struck down by the hero.

After His Adventures

-After the Hero of Legend stopped Ganon he and Zelda returned to Hyrule where Link Likely became a Knight to the royal family. Little is known about his life after the Oracle games but it is assumed in the next game in the TimelineA Link Between Worlds that the Hero of that era was a descendant of the Hero of Legend.

-The hero of Legend is one of the most influential heroes of the history of Hyrule. Not only did he defeat Ganon twice, but He also went on Four adventures which is twice as many as any other hero in Hyrule's History.
