Green balls score 1 point, Red balls score 3 points. Reaching 20 point Rito Ornest will reward you.
Use Rewind to stop the ball mid-air and cancel rewind while it is above the platform. Don't let rewind send the ball back to the Goron.
Reaching 17 points the Rito will reward you with 50 ruppees.
Reaching 20 points the reward is 100 ruppees.
