Lester is a character found in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Breath of the Wild
Lester works at the Rito Stable in the Hebra region.
Tears of the Kingdom
Lester is an elderly man who can be found near the horses at Lookout Landing. When Link first arrives at Lookout Landing, he guides Link to skeap with Scorpis, the guard at the center of Lookout Landing.[1][2]
After the events of Breath of the Wild, the Hebra region became too cold, causing business at the Rito Stable to get slower. Eventually, Stable closed and was later bought by the Lucky Clover Gazette.[3]
Purah reached out to Lester and asked him to take care of the horses at Lookout Landing. He looks after the horses, but initially, the location is not quite ready for Link to register or take out a horse.[4][5] Lester wants to build a mini stable at the Landing, which Karson from Hudson Construction is helping him build.[6]
The Incomplete Stable

After completing one of the Regional Phenomena, Link can speak with Lester to begin The Incomplete Stable Side Quest. Lester wants to know when the stable will be ready and Karson tells him it will still be little while as he is working on repairing the roof planks.[7][8] With the stable still incomplete, Lester is not able to board any horses.[9]
With the stable being incomplete, Lester does feel bad a bit for the horses.[10] If Link speaks to him, he advises Link to visit some of the other nearby stables.[11] Lester advises Link to visit the New Serenne Stable, located to the west.[12][13]
Link is able to use Ultrahand and place the last roof plank right in its proper spot. Karson is delighted that it fits perfectly.[14] He thanks Link and says that now that the roof is complete, he can put the finishing touches on the stable.[15][16] After a few moments, Karson will finish up work and the mini-stable will be complete.[17][18][19] The stable will now be complete and Link can now speak with Lester to board horses.[20]
Lester will then head over and sit down, next to the mini-stable. He thanks Link and Karson once again[21] As a reward, Lester will give Link one Pony Point. Although he does say that he cannot claim a reward here, but instead will have to visit a proper stable, such as the New Serenne Stable to the west.[22]
