Jarod is a character from Breath of the Wild.
Breath of the Wild
In the past, Jarod was the secret boyfriend of Lasli. Even Claree, Lasli's older sister, was unaware of their relationship.[1] However, he was killed by a monster whilst protecting Lasli.[2] He was buried in the graveyard of Kakariko Village, and Lasli infrequently visits him there when she can. To the outside, she tries to play off her former relationship as ending in a toxic breakup.[3] Ever since, she has used her work to distract herself,[4] but her preferred method is Sunset Fireflies,[5] something she's enjoying since childhood.[6] At present, she cannot indulge in this hobby of hers due to the threat of monsters and the Yiga Clan.[7]
Trivia
- The English version of Breath of the Wild is the only language to provide a name in relation to Lasli's boyfriend. All others leave him ambiguously nameless.
