Bahni is a character found in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
Bahni can be found near the Hyrule Field Chasm, where he is resting beneath a small tent. When Link walks over the Gloom, Bahni will shout out towards Link for him to be careful.[1] Bahni is too sluggish to move because of the Gloom that has affected him. He previously was investigating down in the Depths, where he touched some Gloom. He mentions that after being exposed by Gloom, he slowly started to recover, once he returned to the surface. However, while down in the Depths, there is no recovery at all.[2][3] Despite being the leader of the investigation, he is currently completely reliant on Daval.
