For many gamers, the most memorable games are those that make impressions on us, show us new things, or give us some food for thought. Large games incorporate philosophy to build up the moral environment and bring life and character to NPCs, creating contrast between you and the various locations you are allowed to visit. Though simple in comparison to multi-player online games, the Zelda franchise excels at providing differing “communal” personalities, where each race has their own universal values…

Outlining the biology of Zelda races is an exciting and daunting task. After my previous article regarding the biology of the Gerudo, I have gone deeper into this study and have developed biological theories on the Goron race as well. Gorons have appeared in every Zelda game released after their first appearance in Ocarina of Time — with the exception of Four Swords — and this provides us with a lot of material to examine in attempting to understand the…

Hey, new Curiosity Shop video! Told you I’d still be doing these. And you didn’t believe me. You meanies. This time around I answered many more questions than usual. Eight questions! Although two of them are asked by the same person… Heh, is that cheating? Hell, there’s another count of cheating in this one, all the Metroid Prime 2 music in the background instead of Zelda music. Here’s the timestamps for all of the questions: (00:17) When is Zelda Wii…
