Ocarina of Time Walkthrough

Welcome to the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Walkthrough. The walkthrough below is a complete 100% Ocarina of Time walkthrough that will cover a full run through of the entire game, including strategies for all bosses and enemies, the collection of all heart pieces, gold skulltulas, and upgrades that take you through all of the many side quests within the game. This guide also serves as an Ocarina of Time 3D Walkthrough for the Nintendo 3DS remake of the game.

You can also check out the video version at our Ocarina of Time Video Walkthrough page. The video walkthrough will follow the text version of the Ocarina of Time Walkthrough identically in the order of collection for the items. Much like this site walkthrough, the video walkthrough will cover every item, collectible, and sidequest, while also providing great commentary throughout the walkthrough.

What happened to the old version of this website? I’ve been using it a lot recently and particularly liked the lists above each section telling you which items were to be found. That way I could still play that area without spoiling all the details and be sure that I got everything I needed. Is there any way to access the old version?

    • s

i know! this version is garbage

    • Peter Linkdage

Yeah!!! Bring back the old format. The collectible lists and aesthetic blue background bring peace and joy to my completionist heart.

This version of the guide is friendly to users on their phones and tablet, and a few sacrifices had to be made to get the page to function properly. The lists of what appears in each section is something we do in fact want to continue to provide, but it will take a bit of time to get that working.

Working on getting a quick list back up. Should be available in temp form shortly. Working on a more elaborate display that is mobile friendly.

      • Adam James Seth Burnett

Thank you very much for putting the item lists back in – very helpful!

  • chad warden

What the fuck. Change it back to the old format. They would change it the day I actually use a walkthrough.

    • http://www.zeldadungeon.net/ Mases Hagopian

‘Chad Warden’, not sure if troll or actual complaint

  • chad warden

Not trolling. This format is nice and smooth on a phone and tablet but I liked the other one because it told you the collectibles of the area.

    • http://www.zeldadungeon.net/ Mases Hagopian

Working on it as we type. Will have a listing for each section done shortly. Working on a more elaborate display, but we will have a quick links that show you each item, heart piece, and skulltula per section.

Same here, I absolutely loved the old design, now I don’t wanna even keep playing the game… Please revert back or at least let us choose! Also, thanks for the great work!

  • Michael

Please revert to the old style. The new one feels confusing. Please!

  • Justin

You know im using my phone for this site and i gotta say that the way you had it before was perfect why would you change perfection

    • http://www.zeldadungeon.net/ Mases Hagopian

Before phones would load the full site and there was compatibility issues with a lot of different phones. You’d have to manually zoom in just to read the text and it was hard to see the pictures. The guides no longer need you to zoom in to see the text, it condenses the navigation so it doesn’t clutter your phone, and the pictures are much larger.

Yes, this is why you have one layout for desktop and another one for mobile. You just forced people to navigate your website with a mobile layout from desktop. Refer back to your analytics in a month to see what I’m talking about. Also, please revert back to the old design! Or let us choose what we’d rather use :)

        • http://www.zeldadungeon.net/ Mases Hagopian

Traffic has been solid in the month since we transferred. Regarding Mobile, there have been a heck of a lot more compliments about the site being mobile friendly as opposed to those like yours above. That said, I think there is a portion of the population that does prefer to have full desktop version, even on mobile, even if it struggles with full functionality due to limitations of mobile. It is something we are going to look into, and we will allow users to view the desktop version even on Tablet/Mobile.

Im just starting the master quest on 3ds and I want to get 100% is your walkthrough on the master quest sufficient for 100 % cause it looks like it just explains the dungeons and not everything else

    • http://www.zeldadungeon.net/ Mases Hagopian

The overworld is the same. It is just the dungeons that are different. So you can use the main walkthrough, but for the dungeon portions, you would switch to the Master Quest dungeon guides. At this time they are just text though.

      • Bambi

The overworld is NOT the same. The entire game is mirrored

  • d

good job on driving your users away from this ugly site!

    • http://www.zeldadungeon.net/ Mases Hagopian

Actually, traffic is up since the move. It’s too small of a sample size at this point.

Nevertheless, we are working on improving the format for all the walkthroughs. Expect a lot of changes in the coming months.

  • Shan

I still use the site – I like Zelda, but I’ve got more of a life than to get upset over the way the site looks when I kind of.. cheat. Still got what I needed. Thanks for the help. :)

  • Bill

Hey just wanted to say what happend to the old layout ;(

  • Kaine Morrison

What happened to the Isometric Maps?

  • Seda

I miss the old layout. I’m sorry. The new walkthroughs seem.. just text based and less witty than I remember. Plus the boss pictures were perfect

  • Frustrated

Mobile Layout is awful. I can’t even request the desktop version.

  • Ted

Im playing ocarina master quest on the gc and I can’t find a gold Skulltulas guide for master quest, is there one on here and if so can someone post a link to it? If there isn’t and someone could post a link where I could find one I’d appreciate. Also I think the jabu jabu belly mq guide needs to be fixed. Towards the end it’s confusing.

  • ZeldaFan#1

OMG, what happened!!! I can’t use this walkthrough! I looked up the website and this came up! Wheres the awesome zelda dungeon with colorful pictures, maps, and a video walkthrough to go along with the written one!?!
This is terrible, my life is ruined!

  • Kaz

What is this, Not even given the option to switch to the normal version?!?! So I’ll need my computer in bed with me from now on?! ( •̣̣̣̣̣̥́௰•̣̣̣̣̣̥̀ )
