The New A Link Between Worlds Trailer Gives us Lorule, Pendants, and… Ganon?

Didn’t think Nintendo would show any more footage of A Link Between Worlds? Well, you were wrong. Nintendo has surprised us with a new 3DS & 2DS trailer that shows off quite a bit of new story details, such as the new kingdom of Lorule, as well as how Link’s ability to turn into a painting will be used in puzzles. The trailer shows off that not only are the three pendants from A Link to the Past needed once more, but the core plot involves characters being turned into paintings.

The new, mysterious, Ganon-esque character is tied to this strange ability and is seen turning characters in the paintings and running off with them. And that’s not all as it seems as though Ganon himself will be making an appearance! The new character Hilda seems to be the ruler of Lorule and in dire need of Link’s help, but her true motives remain unknown. We’ll just have to play the game to find out!
