Today is a good day for Legend of Zelda fans in the United Kingdom. Nintendo UK’s marketing director, Shelly Pearce, revealed that Nintendo UK is pleased with the amount of sales Majora’s Mask 3D has produced.

Pearce said she also feels confident about the strong sales of the New Nintendo 3DS, which are most likely related to the success of Majora’s Mask 3D. She also said Majora’s Mask 3D debuted at the top of the gaming charts.

Here is the statement from marketing director Pearce:

“We’re really pleased with how Majora’s Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate have performed. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has significantly outperformed its predecessor and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D has debuted at the top spot in the individual format chart. We’ve also seen a strong start for the New 3DS and we’re looking forward to building this momentum.” — Shelly Pearce
