New Link Version of HORI Battlepad Releasing for Wii U

HORI is releasing another Zelda related Nintendo accessory for the Wii U. This time around it’s a Battlepad featuring 3 turbo settings and the iconic Hylian Crest. The design mimics a GameCube controller and works with all Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro compatible games including Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and most virtual console titles. It definitely looks slick.

I don’t know if I am picking one up for myself, but if I ever need a new Classic Controller Pro this will certainly be first on my list. I’ve had some decent luck with HORI Gamepads in the past, though experiences can and often will vary. Be sure to check out the gallery to see even bigger images of the new hardware.
