New Hyrule Warriors Character Video for Fi (Japanese)

Koei Tecmo has released another Hyrule Warriors character video for Fi, our all-knowing companion and the spirit of the Goddess Sword from Skyward Sword. She takes to the battlefield with grace and poise, ready to teach her enemies a few lessons in killer ballet moves and swordsmanship. Firstly, the choice of music for this trailer is intriguing, as it gives the feel of entering a challenging boss level. However, it does serve to intensify Fi’s showdown with her enemies. As she is introduced, her weapon title literally translates to “Heavenly Sword”. This may refer to the blade she inhabits at this point in the game.

Speaking of blades, Fi is able to transform into the Goddess Sword at will in order to perform more powerful area attacks. Many of her attacks from the screenshots are on display here, while some of them are not, such as her summoning the Sacred Flames. It is possible that this ability is attained at a higher level. Still, with great power comes great responsibility. Overall, Fi looks to be a very balanced character and well paced at that. Has Fi proven to be a capable fighter in your eyes?
