Earlier this month, we reported that specific retailers were giving away exclusive DLC costume packs for Hyrule Warriors. Ever since then, we have been waiting for confirmation that the DLC packs were going to be made available by other means. We already know that Club Nintendo members who register their game will receive a code for an exclusive Ganondorf costume set. However, the other costume sets were stirring up a lot of controversy. People who wanted everything the game had to offer would be out of luck unless they bought the game from each retailer. Finally, we have confirmation that the costume packs will be made available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop.

This news comes with pros and cons. While we will have to pay a few extra dollars to dress for our own style, we are getting the content without having to jump through hoops at other retailers. No official release date or price tag has been announced for the eShop versions of the DLC, but we will keep you posted as we find out more in the near future. Are you planning on getting the costume packs? If so, which ones? Let us know in the comments down below.
