Terrorpin are turtle-like enemies that appear in the Dark Palace of A Link to the Past.
A Link to the Past
Terrorpins appear to be indestructible on first glance as their hard shells are impenetrable by Link's sword. However, once Link acquires the Hammer, he can use it on the Terrorpin to flip it upside down. When they are upside down, their weak spot is revealed, in which Link can defeat it with a variety of enemies. After a period of time, the Terrorpin will flip right side up if it is not defeated. Furthermore, if Link uses the hammer nearby, the Terrorpin will jump back on its feet.
