Shitate is the owner and manager of the Castle Town Shop, found within Castle Town in Spirit Tracks. When Link first meets Shitate, he is happy to see him and tells Link that he has many fabulous items for sale.[1] Shitate's shop is the first place where Link can acquire a Shield. Link can also purchase Red Potion and some Prize Postcards from the shop. Shitate also sells a variety of uncommon Treasure, but that 300 Rupees a piece, these are overpriced goods that can be found elsewhere for cheaper.
