This Lake has a unique attribute in that, whenever it rains, the water level rises and it cause the shape of the lake to resemble that of an Octorok. He wants to hang a picture on the wall of the lake when it looks like an Octorok, thinking it might cause monsters to stay away. Rudi is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

Rudi runs the East Akkala Stable located at the far northeast end of the map, just south of the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. He runs both the Stable and the Inn. When talking to Rudi from the outside of the stable, Link can take a horse, board a horse, or register a new horse.[1][2] When talking to Rudi from the inside of the stable, Link is able to rent a bed. He can rent a regular bed for 20 rupees or a Soft Bed for 40 rupees.[3]

Tears of the Kingdom

Rudi runs the East Akkala Stable and the first time Link arrives at the stable, he will award him with a Pony Point.[4] He welcomes Link to the stable, offering to register a horse or for Link to take one out for a ride.[5]

After completing one of the Regional Phenomena, as well as acquiring the Camera as part of the Camera Work in the Depths quest, Link can examine the empty picture frame on the wall in the stable. This Lake has a unique attribute in that, whenever it rains, the water level rises and it cause the shape of the lake to resemble that of an Octorok. He wants to hang a picture on the wall of the lake when it looks like an Octorok, thinking it might cause monsters to stay away. However, since he can't leave the stable unattended, he's not able to leave and go paint a picture.[7]
