Platt is a character in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom

Platt is the husband of Malena and can be found resting within the Gerudo Canyon, near a campsite. He is in pain while his wife is caring for him.

Gleeok Guts

Main article: Gleeok Guts (Side Quest)

Speaking to Malena will begin the Gleeok Guts side quest. Malena needs to get some medicine in order to heal her husband. However, the main ingredient she needs in the medicine is Gleeok Guts, which can be acquire by defeating an enemy Gleeok. Malena references the Flame Gleeok who can be found flying over Spectacle Rock, high up on the Gerudo Canyon.

After defeating the Gleeok and giving Platt some Gleeok Guts, she will immediately make a medicine for her husband to consume. He makes a quick a recovery and is very thankful to both Link and his wife. Melana will then give Link a Gold Rupee as a reward before the two then continue out on their wedding adventure.
