This is for the [[Moblin's Keep]] [[Piece of Heart]]. There are two ways to do this. This is the first way. You will need the cape, then go to the [[North Horon]] tree. It's a [[Scent Seed]] Tree. Then go down one screen, left once, up once, and go up through the log. Now go left and call [[Moosh]]. Go back right twice. Now jump over all the holes to go right once more. Go down once by jumping over all the holes and take the left-most down way again. Go right and get of your animal. Now is the harder part. Use your cape to jump and slash one of the bushes so you can go right. Swim over and go up the stairs. Go into the building and meet with the [[Great Moblin]]. Throw his [[Bomb]]s back at him until he turns to ash every time you hit him. Now just throw a bomb so that he drops one behind him. When you defeat him wait until the scene is over and collect the [[Piece of Heart]]. Here is the second way. You know where you met [[Moosh]] on [[Mt. Cucco]]? Go there and go left. Keep going left and do not stop until you reach the [[Goron]]s. Now once you go inside [[Goron City]], go right and go down the stairs. Now swim down through the water until you reach the end. Go out of the cave and go left one screen and down the stairs into the water. While in the water, go right twice and get out of the water. Now go down three times, but on the third time going down, take the right side. Now go right and up the stairs into the Great Moblin's place. Throw his bombs back at him until he turns to ash every time you hit him. Now just throw a bomb so that he drops one behind him. When you defeat him wait until the scene is over and collect the [[Piece of Heart]].

Link begins the adventure through Holodrum with three full Heart Containers. There are twelve quarter Heart Pieces scattered throughout the game. There is also full Heart Container to snag after each boss, bringing Link's total life to fourteen hearts after obtaining each Heart Piece and Heart Container.

If playing the second game in a Linked Game, Link will start with four full Heart Containers, and has the ability to max his hearts out to sixteen, by utilizing one of the Linked Game Secrets.

    Location: Horon Village

    Conditions: Acquire Ember Seeds

    Heart Piece #1: Go down one screen from Mayor Ruul's House. You should see the Heart Piece located behind a small bush. Use an Ember Seed to burn down the bush and collect the Piece of Heart.

    Location: Woods of Winter

    Conditions: Acquire the Rod of Seasons (Winter)

    Heart Piece #2: In the Woods of Winter, go to the stump in the southeastern corner (two screens right from Horon Village). Change the season to winter and go up one screen, and then go left after you go up the snow. Go into the cave and collect the Piece of Heart.

    Conditions: Reach Subrosia

    Heart Piece #4: In the Subrosia Market, buy the 'Rare Peach Stone' (The upside-down Piece of Heart). It's available for 20 Ore Chunks and 10 Ember Seeds. The clearing just right of the market outside provides a great spot for digging Ore Chunks if needed.

    Location: Moblin's Keep

    Conditions: Acquire the Power Bracelet

    Heart Piece #5: From the entrance to Sunken City, head up one and left two screens along the path, then head down three screens and right one. Cross the bridge and swim across to the steps. Walk up them and continue up two screens and enter the Moblin's Keep. Head up the staircase here to face off against the Moblin King. Throw the bombs back at the king to defeat him, bringing the tower down. A chest containing a Piece of Heart can be found in the rubble.

    Heart Piece #6: From the Dancing Dragon Dungeon, simply jump down the gap in the southern wall and collect the Piece of Heart.

    Conditions: Acquire the Rod of Seasons (Spring), Zora's Flippers

    Heart Piece #7: Go to Spool Swamp and go one screen south from the Poison Moth's Lair. Use the stump to change the season to spring and go right. Go down three and right two screens. Head down a screen here and use the current to go left. Pick up the Piece of Heart lying here.

    Location: Eyeglass Lake

    Conditions: Acquire the Rod of Seasons (Summer), Power Bracelet

    Heart Piece #8: Head to the stump above Eyeglass Lake to change the season to summer. Then head right one and down two screens. Descend the steps leading into the dried-up lake and continue up one screen. Pick up the rock and go downstairs. Now just follow the path, while fighting off the monsters, and collect your Piece of Heart from the chest.

    Location: Graveyard

    Conditions: Acquire the Rod of Seasons (Autumn), Roc's Cape

    Heart Piece #9: After the Piratians dock up near the Graveyard, head to the stump in this area to change the season to autumn. Now return through the house and follow the path to the Graveyard. Enter the cave along the way. Go in and use Roc's Cape to jump across the gap. Exit the cave to arrive in the Graveyard. Head to the entrance of the Explorer's Crypt where you see mushrooms. Pick them up, head right a screen, and snag the Heart Piece.

    Location: Temple Remains

    Conditions: Acquire Roc's Cape

    Heart Piece #10: After the volcanoes erupt in Subrosia, you will find a cracked wall in the northern section of the Temple. Use a Bomb to reveal the entrance to the cave. Inside, make your way to the Heart Piece at the back of the room, with the help of Roc's Cape.

    Conditions: Encounter Maple

    Heart Piece #11: When meeting with Maple, she may drop a Piece of Heart as she rides around. This is completely random, and will take a few tries to obtain. If you have Maple's Ring, equip it, as this will halve the amount of enemies you need to defeat to force Maple to appear, from 30 down to 15. If she drops the Heart Piece, she will immediately head towards it, so it can be difficult to snag.

    Location: Various

    Conditions: Plant Gasha Nuts

    Heart Piece #12: This Heart Piece requires opening a Gasha Nut, produced after a Gasha Seed is planted. Seeds planted in more difficult-to-reach locations have a higher chance of producing a Nut which contains rare items, which includes the Piece of Heart. Keep planting until you obtain this Heart Piece.
