The Patron is sitting at the Bar near the front entrance of the Kakariko Inn. If Link talks to him, he speaks of a young lady at the Waterfall of Wishing[1]. The man is referring to the Waterfall of Wishing Fairy where Link can acquire the Magic Boomerang and the Red Shield.
