Kokiri Dagger

The Kokiri Dagger is the first weapon obtained in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The blade is hidden in a small chest, which in turn is hidden in a simple maze in Kokiri Forest. It is required, along with the Deku Shield, to gain access to the grove in which the Great Deku Tree grows. The weapon possesses modest strength and can only be used by child Link, however the fact that it is the only one of the three swords that child Link can utilize means that it is an invaluable asset during the earlier portions of the hero's quest. This same fact works in reverse to render the blade useless for adult Link.

Master Sword

The Master Sword is arguably the most important weapon in the game because it possesses the ability to defeat the power of evil and because it is the first weapon adult Link receives.
