Hroks are bird enemies that have appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Skyward Sword
Hroks are large birds found in Lanayru Desert. They sit perched on top of dead trees, and take of Link or the Beetle approaches them. To attack they fly above Link and attempt to drop a boulder on him.
Since they never land on the ground, Link must use a projectile weapon to defeat them. Link can pick up a Bomb Flower with the Beetle and either drop it on the Hrok from above or run into it from behind. Later in the game, Link can shoot them down from a distance with his Bow and Arrows. When a Hroks are defeated, they will drops 20 Rupees.
