Ache
The Ache are bat-like enemies related to the Keese that appearing in The Adventure of Link.
Appearances
Aches are bat-like creatures that are mostly found in caves. They swoop down on you whenever you go beneath them. Earlier in the game when you can't see in caves and they take more hits they're threatening, but later after you obtain the Candle and more attack power they become easier than cake to defeat. You can found two variations of Aches in this game.
Blue Ache
Blue Ache are mostly found in caves or trees. When Link are near, they dive down in an attempt to attack him before retreating to forest or cave ceiling. They deal a small amount of damage and can be killed with a Sword slash. Link gains 3 experience points for defeating The Blue Ache.
Purple Ache
This purple variety of Aches can only be found in the cursed town of Darunia. This Aches is called "Eyes of Ganon" by townsfolk, because they can disguise themselves as ordinary villagers. After Link talking to certain villager of the town, they may transform back into their Ache form. These Aches have more hit points than Blue Aches and cause a lot of damage. So, it is best to avoid dealing with these creatures. They can be killed with a Sword and Link gains 5 experience points for defeating Them.
