- 23rd - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD was announced in a Nintendo Direct Wii U feature.
- 29th - The English translation of The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia was released, published by Dark Horse.
June
- 11th - The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds received a title and a demo was available at Nintendo's E3 booth.
Interviews
- January 23rd - Eiji Aonuma revealed The Wind Waker HD and briefly outlined the focus of the development of Zelda Wii U in a Nintendo Direct Wii U feature.
- June 11th - Aonuma described the changes to The Winde Waker HD in more detail in a special E3 Developer Direct.
- June 11th - Shigeru Miyamoto told GameInformer that Zelda Wii U won't be ready to show off until after the release of The Wind Waker HD.
- June 12th - Miyamoto explained to GameIndustry International why Zelda Wii U didn't appear at E3 2013.
