Fuse is an ability in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tears of the Kingdom
"Attach something to an equipped weapon or shield to enhance it. You can undo the fusion, but that will destroy whatever has been attached."

Link is able to fuse some of his weaponry along with objects and items in the Overworld. He can fuse items such as a Tree Branch with a Rock in order to make a makeshift hammer.
