Pestos, also known as Boons are fly-like enemies that have appeared in The Adventure of Link and The Minish Cap.
Appearances
The Adventure of Link
Pestos are called Boons in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Pestos are enemies that fly very fast around the screen. They can be found in swamps and fields of Eastern Hyrule. Pestos can be dangerous because their flying pattern are very hard to predict. They also can drop stones on their enemies below as they fly. Upward Thrusts are the best way to kill them. Link gains 50 experience points for defeating this enemy.
The Minish Cap
