The Monster Claw is a material acquired after defeating a Keese in Skyward Sword. You can use the Monster Claw to upgrade your items at the Bazaar.
For example,
If you use two Amber Relics, one Monster Claw, and one Jelly Blob, you can turn your Wooden Shield into a Banded Shield!
