Are Horse-Back Battles A Good Idea Or Not?
Getting Started
Horse-back battles appear in a few Zelda games such as Twilight Princess and [Ocarina of Time]], these battles only appear in games where Link has a horse named Epona. Link will fight the enemy while they are on a horse which makes it even more harder, especially when they are on a bridge and you can easily fall off. But are horse-back battles really a good idea or a bad idea? As there is a few advantages yet more disadvantages.

The only advantages there are is the fact that the horse is faster, meaning you can catch up with your enemy quicker and slash them with your sword instead of an on foot sword battle where if you get to close to the enemy they can easily attack you before you attack them. Another advantage is that if your doing the horse-back battle for the final boss ( Twilight Princess ), Princess Zelda will let you use light arrows to help you fight as you won't get these type of arrows just to help you throughout your journey and going into temples.

When using light arrows or just regular arrows its hard to aim because your enemy keeps moving out of your aim unless you can distract them so they stay still, otherwise its a disadvantage because it's too hard to aim. Another disadvantage is that if you stop or slow down to slash your enemy with your sword it buys the enemy time to get away or attack you first.

So what do you think about the horse-back battles? Do you think they are a good idea or not, if so, why? I think Breath of the Wild should have a horse-back battle in it because it's going to be the last game that have Epona in it, otherwise I think they should of put less in Twilight Princess. · If emulating, the use of BIOS screen is advised. If not used, ~3 seconds will be added to your final time for each hard reset. Also, when using BGB or Gambatte-speedrun, the video submission should include a hard reset showing the on-screen messages confirming emulator version and game checksum. On BGB, this is done by turning on Speedrun mode in the 'Misc' section.
· Emulator submissions must have the latest version of the emulator.
· Bizhawk is allowed, however the community prefers BGB of Gambatta-speedrun. Manips and glitches aren't consistent when using Bizhawk.
