Futoshi Shirai is a director and designer who has worked for Nintendo since the late-1990's. His very first game he worked on was Majora's Mask, where he is credited as a Map Data Manager. This was the only Legend of Zelda title he has worked, but he has since gone on to work on a number of games in the Super Mario Bros. franchise, including Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario 3D World, and Super Mario Odyssey. He is one of the very few team members who worked on Majora's Mask without previously working on Ocarina of Time.
