Majora's Mask
Majora's Mask
Majora's Mask is the only game that features a Yellow ChuChu that does not have electrical powers. They are quite common, easily killed, and hold arrows inside their bodies that can be collected when they are defeated.

The Wind Waker
The Wind Waker
The Wind Waker took Majora's Mask's Yellow Chus and put electrical currents in them, making them less common and more dangerous. Link must first hit the Chu with his boomerang or the Hero's Bow to stun or defeat the Chu safetly. If Link tries to attack a Yellow Chu directly, it will shock him. Even if a Yellow ChuChu is inside water along with Link, despite water's electrical conduction, he will not be shocked.

Phantom Hourglass
Phantom Hourglass
Phantom Hourglass kept with The Wind Waker's version of the Yellow ChuChus, staying with their electricity. In this game, though, their electric does not last forever. Link has the choice of either stunning the Chu then attacking or waiting for the electricity to stop, making it possible to attack without being hurt. If Link gets shocked in this game, he will be stunned and the map on the top screen will become pixalated and slowly become normal again.
