Aquamentus is the boss of the first dungeon, [[Gnarled Root Dungeon]]. He resembles a dragon with a horn on top of his head. He will attack you by shooting beams in three different direction from his horn, or occasionally by charging at you. The battle itself is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is slash at Aquamentus's horn with your sword while avoiding his attacks.
