The Cane of Somaria is found in the sixth dungeon in A Link to the Past, Misery Mire.  Its block creating ability also comes in handy in Turtle Rock, where it will prompt certain question mark platforms to move.  If Link waves the cane while a block is already in place, said block will burst into flames.
