It sure has been a crazy two days. First, we heard Zelda U‘s release date might be later than 2015. Shortly after, Eiji Aonuma informed us that Zelda U will not be making an appearance at E3 2015.

Then, the wave of mixed emotions came crashing down on fans. YouTubers uploaded videos sharing their thoughts. The comments on this very website are riddled with fans stating whether they are okay with the recent news or not. With all this commotion going on, Kotaku has decided to put out a call for calm among Zelda fans.

Kotaku reminds us that previous Zelda games, namely The Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, and Twilight Princess, were all delayed, but eventually released. This recent development update about Zelda U is no cause for alarm, because eventually we will be traversing through the open world of this game. It may be later than expected, but we as a community must be patient.

Thanks Kotaku, for reminding us that Zelda games being delayed are nothing new. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
