Fan Theory: How the Gerudo Became Twili

GameOver Jesse, HylianBandicoots, and ZeldaConqueror have pieced together another theory for us, this time about if the Twili-a race of people hailing from the Twilight Realm-are in fact descendants of the Gerudo-a race every Zelda fan knows about. To start out this theory, they point out how we don’t know what happened to the Gerudo during the child timeline, as they disappear during Link’s time in Termina.
The crew of theorists believes that many of them, along with Ganon, have been banished into the Twilight Realm. It is speculated that they evolved into the Twili, as the Zora evolved into the Rito, and the Kokiri evolved into the Korok. Watch the video to see them attempt to prove this.
At first, I was a bit skeptical. But slowly the facts started connecting, and the theory itself is a very well formulated and thought out. As they got to the part about the how Midna looks like she is part Zuna, part Gerudo, the theory started to show it had enough evidence to support itself. All throughout the video, the theorists do a extremely good job providing information against many counter arguments, and all in all, I believe its one of the better fan theories I have heard.
