The Adventure of Link Bosses
In this guide, you'll find descriptions and strategies on all of the bosses in the game.

Horsehead Parapa Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
50
- Horsehead is one of the easiest bosses in the game. His only attack is a spike hammer that he likes to use a lot. His head is his only weak spot, the rest of his body is covered in armor.
- To hurt him, simply jump up and slash his head. It is recommended you use the Shield Spell. If you already have the Jump Spell at this point, don't enable it. It will make it much harder to hit his head. Keep slashing at his head until he is defeated.

Helmethead Midero Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
200
- You'll most likely notice that Helmethead's weak point is his head. However, he has three heads to be exact. Keep on slashing at the heads until two of them have been decapitated. Once his true head is revealed, you can start damaging him.
- However, after the two heads come off, they don't just disappear. They fly around the room and shoot flames at you, so stay focused. The helmets will be the biggest problem in the fight since they distract you from hitting Helmethead himself.

Ironknuckle Island Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
300
- Ironknuckle comes on a horse unlike the two previous bosses. The best strategy is to do Downward Thrusts on him when he charges by. Keep on doing this until his horse is defeated.
- After his horse is gone, it'll just be like battling a normal Blue Ironknuckle. However, this does not mean the battle will become easy. He is still difficult without his horse, so don't get cocky.

Carock Maze Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
300
- This battle is extremely easy if you know what to do. Carock simply appears and disappears around the room constantly while shooting beams. Put on the Shield and Reflect Spells and duck in one of the corners. He wears a skull necklace which protects him from physical harm.
- His own beams hurt him when they're deflected with the Reflect Spell. The only time you'll get hurt is when he appears in the corner where you're ducking down and defending. I suggest enabling Reflect right before the battle starts. He can easily kill you if you don't act fast.

Gooma Ocean Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
500
- Gooma can be a huge pain even to veteran players. He throws a big spike ball that not only is hard to avoid, but does major damage. Unlike some of the last bosses, his weak point is just his body. The best tactic is to use Shield, Jump, and save the rest for Life. Simply slash at him and quickly jump away.
- The Shield and Jump Spells are highly recommended. Don't use any other Spells, save your magic for the Life Spell. You have to be very fast if you don't want to get hit since his mace does a lot of damage.

Barba Hidden Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
700
- This fight is annoying since it's easy to die due to the lava pits. Barba's only weak point is his head. Use the Jump and Shield Spells for this fight, they'll both come in handy. If you need to conserve magic for whatever reason, you can simply just duck and swing your sword when Barba moves down.
- Avoid his fire breath, it can easily knock you into the lava and instantly kill you. Downward Thrusts do a lot of damage, but it is hard to do them without getting hurt. They also put you at risk of falling into the lava, so just take your time.

Thunderbird Great Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
1,000
- Thunderbird is found at the depths of the Great Palace. He starts off red, and invincible. However, if you use the Thunder Spell, it will turn him blue and vulnerable. His main fighting strategy is flying around the room spitting fire balls.
- As you start to weaken Thunderbird, he will start to move faster and spit out more fire balls at once. The Shield Spell is recommended no doubt; he can kill you with three hits total without it even with L-8 and a full health bar.

Shadow Link Great Palace |
Threat:
Experience Points:
---
- The final showdown is with Link's Shadow himself. This boss is by far the hardest in the game due to the fact that he shows no mercy. His main weakness when it comes to mimicking all of your moves is jumping. Shadow Link will always follow you in this fight.
- However, if you just stand in a corner and stab over and over, he'll keep getting hurt and you'll defeat him without a sweat. I recommend you beat him the normal way at least once though just for the fact that you know that you killed him normally at least once.
