Princess Zelda Kidnapped?!

Games

Location

Quests

Start

Speak to Penn

Objective

Find and rescue Princess Zelda

Attributes

Type

Princess Zelda Kidnapped?! is a Side Adventure in Tears of the Kingdom.

Overview

Head to Dueling Peaks Stable, and you'll find Penn camped out on top of the head of the stable, where he'll tell you that Traysi had received word from the Yiga Clan that they have kidnapped Zelda, and have provided a clue as to where she is being held. Use the clue to figure out where she is held, and rescue her.

Requirements

Link must have spoken to Traysi and taken a freelance job for the Lucky Clover Gazette in the Potential Princess Sightings! Side Adventure.

Walkthrough

Penn is located on top of the head of Dueling Peaks Stable, so the easiest way to get to him is to run inside the stable, Ascend to the roof, and then use Ascend again under the chin of the head to reach Penn. Speak with him, and he'll inform you that the Yiga Clan has written to the Lucky Clover Gazette with this message/clue:

We have taken Zelda to the carved-out heart of the towering twins!

Penn is convinced that the "twins" in this case are the Dueling Peaks themselves, and that they need to try to find and rescue her.

  • The "carved out heart of the towering twins" in this case is a small canyon that is on top of the southern Dueling Peak (1314, -1976, 0303).
  • Talk to Zelda, then use Ultrahand to lift the cage up.
  • Zelda will reveal herself to be a Yiga Footsoldier and will call in two more footsoldiers to attack. Defeat them to finish the Side Adventure.
