Pompie is one of the two gossiping women on Windfall Island, along with Vera in the game The Wind Waker. She and Vera are the most talkative women on island.

Pompie and Vera spread rumors about Lenzo, but when Link shows Vera a picture to prove her wrong, she and Pompie learn about the rudeness of rumor spreading and promise not to do it again, and give Link a Treasure Chart.
