Death Mountain Trail is a location from Ocarina of Time. It is the pathway ascending the slopes of Death Mountain; it connects Goron City and Kakariko Village[1], and includes the Death Mountain Summit.

Ocarina of Time

The trail begins at a gate monitored by a guard at the western end of Kakariko Village and goes to the Summit of Death Mountain. Along the trail is the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern, which is made accessible by throwing a Bomb Flower from higher up on the trail at the boulder blocking the way. There is also a Piece of Heart atop the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern that can be collected either by backflipping from a higher point of the trail or by planting a Magic Bean at the base. After obtaining the Bomb Bag from Dodongo's Cavern, Link can destroy rocks on the side of the path exposing alcoves with hidden treasures inside them. There are many Gorons along the trail along with some Tektites.

A cow resides in a Secret Grotto, where 26 rupees can be found. Two bombable walls exist - one near Kakariko Village has a Gold Skullula (see #25, below); the other, near Goron City, has a Purple Rupee in a small Treasure Chest.
