[[Stone Tower Temple]], the fourth [[dungeon]] in the game, houses fifteen stray fairies that [[Link]] can collect using the [[Great Fairy Mask]]. In Majora's Mask, if Link collects all 15 Stray Fairies in the Stone Tower Temple and returns them to the Fairy's Fountain in Ikana Canyon, he will restore the Great Fairy of Kindness to her true form. She will thank Link for his help, and reward him with the Great Fairy's Sword.

Unlike the other swords in the game, the Great Fairy's Sword is assigned to the C buttons, and must be equipped as an item before Link can use it.
